In order to provide my clients with the the latest in album production, I will be offering my clients the ASUKABOOK, www.asukabook.com. This is a magazine style book in both hard cover and soft covers, they are just like the high end books you see at Borders and other book stores. The simple designs and layouts are a refreshing way to display your wedding images. This will be a great addition to the albums I offer, it will give my clients more choices and an apportunity to display their wedding and portraits in a book style album. I am working on a sample book, should have it ready by the end of March.
October 06, France wedding
In October of 06 I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in the South of France with my good friend Sherman Chu, this was a great experience and opportunity for me. Unfortunately the clients do not want any of the wedding photos published in any form, these are some fun photos that were taken, beautiful countryside and castle where the wedding was held, wish I could show more but you will just have to take my word that it was very extravagant, no expense was spared. It had it all, from fireworks to archery lessons.
Stacy & Sean
December 17 was a cold but sunny day at Wente Vineyards. Stacy & Sean wanted a winter wedding with a Holiday feel, Wente provided the backgrop for the perfect wedding. Sean is a Newark firefighter and Stacy works for the City of Newark. A restored fire engine was provided by Sean’s friends, Stacy’s parents provided the Christmas feel at the reception, which included a decorated Christmas tree. Their favors were Christmas ornaments in individual boxes, what a great idea! Enjoy the photos.
Deborah & Charles
The wedding of Deborah & Charles at Straits Restaurant in Palo Alto was as great end to a great year for me. Deborah & Charles after 15 years of courtship decided that December 30th was the perfect date to get married. They had a patio wedding with friends and family, a short but sweet ceremony and a great luncheon afterward. There were many toasts by friends and family with the jokes being mainly about their long courtship. After lunch we headed to Stanford for some great portraits of them and friends. Above are some images – enjoy.
January
Happy New Year, the year is starting out with a bang, from a business standpoint it's looking great. On a personal note, my goal it to do as much bike riding as possible this year, we are going to ride across Oregon in September so have to be in shape.
On a business note, Sherman Chu & I are going to Vegas in March to WPPI convention. Things are changing quickly in the industry and WPPI is the place to go to view whats new and upcoming. Always trying to stay on top of the new trends in album design and materials.
